Co-fermented with 5 percent Viognier, this deep garnet Syrah has scents of honeysuckle and smoke. Raspberry, blueberry and coffee flavors linger in the silky finish.
The Story
Stephenson came to Walla Walla six years ago, specifically to make wine. He worked as cellarmaster for Waterbrook Winery and apprenticed with Mike Januik (Januik Winery) and Christopher Baron (Cayuse), making his first wine in 2001.
